These guidelines assist adoptions social workers and supervisors with gathering and analysing relevant information from prospective intercountry adopters seeking to adopt a relative child, in order to determine the feasibility of the proposed intercountry adoption prior to engaging with the relevant child welfare authorities in the child’s country of origin
