Case recording

Case recording helps us uphold the mana and understand and tell the story of those we work with, including tamariki, rangatahi and their whānau or family. It also helps us understand our engagement with wider networks including hapū and iwi during a case.

Interventions

Preparing for the care and protection family group conference

A referral for a family group conference is made when there is a belief that te tamaiti or rangatahi is in need of care or protection, or a conference would help whānau or family make a plan to address the oranga (wellbeing) of te tamaiti or rangatahi.

Specialist child interviews are conducted as part of our mahi when te tamaiti or rangatahi may have been the victim of abuse or witnessed an incident that may constitute a criminal offence.
