Templates and components

Our content is delivered through a content management system (CMS) called SilverStripe. Each page in the CMS must have a template and each template is made up of components.

Content templates

Every content page on the Practice Centre must use 1 of 3 content templates, depending on the information to be presented.

Use the:

  • topic template if the content contains a process or overview of a subject
  • policy template if the content is a new policy
  • section template if you're adding a new section of content with pages underneath it.

Content components

Components are the pieces that make up a template. Each template has a set of default components and other optional components that can be added when needed.

Components include page summaries, accordions and note boxes.
